🤔 WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 🤔
We are seeking Tech Lead with a strong technical background who can make lead a product development. In an agile development environment, you will work closely with Product Owners and BizDev teams to gain a deep understanding of business challenges and customer value, and lead the process end-to-end—from requirements definition to system design, coding and delivery. You will join new business development projects in the EV and energy domain, where you will conduct hypothesis-driven validation while defining product value, prioritizing initiatives, setting technical direction, and driving system design. In this role, you are expected to demonstrate strong leadership and hands-on execution capabilities. By collaborating closely with Product Owners, BizDev teams, and development members, you will comprehensively lead the product from MVP/PoC planning and execution through to full-scale rollout, balancing both product and technical perspectives.
✅ RESPONSIBILITIES ✅
- Lead to analyze and structure software requirements based on business requirements and customer challenges, leading prioritization and requirement management with a focus on product value.
- Work closely with software engineers and lead to define feature specifications, system architecture, interface designs, and data pipeline strategies, and make key technical decisions.
- In MVP development, lead and drive sprint-based implementation planning, progress management, and deliverable reviews and validation with a hypothesis-driven approach.
- Review software design documents, specifications, code, and test reports.
- Lead improvements from the perspectives of quality, maintainability, and scalability.
⭐ MINIMUM QUALIFICATION ⭐
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience in software development, with a solid understanding of the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements definition, design, implementation, source code management, build and deployment processes, testing, and operations, and experience proactively contributing throughout these phases.
- At least 5 years of experience in system design or architecture design for new and/or existing systems, including involvement in technology selection and key design-related decision-making.
- At least 5 years of software development experience using one or more modern programming languages, such as Python, C++, C#, Java, Go, Node.js, or Ruby.
- Business-level proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in meetings and written documentation.
- Business-level or conversational proficiency in Japanese, sufficient for day-to-day communication with internal stakeholders.
💡 NICE TO HAVES 💡
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders such as engineers, Product Owners, and BizDev, and proactively contributing to discussions and alignment from both technical and product perspectives.
- Experience in product management or a closely related role, including involvement in product value definition, hypothesis formulation, prioritization, and the planning and execution of MVPs and/or PoCs.
- Experience serving as a Tech Lead or Architect, leading technology selection, architecture design, and key technical decision-making.
- Experience in developing and operating B2B products or enterprise-grade systems.
